Tamworth Library has kindly offered to host a 'computers for beginners' course for adults who have used Dig-iT and aren't confident with using computers or have never used them before and want to learn the basics. The course would suit adults who are dyslexic as well as those who are non-dyslexic but want to learn in order to help (or keep up with) the children - and grandchildren!
The course will run on Saturdays for 5 weeks and will be very informal and dyslexia-friendly. The cost would be £10 for the whole course, or FREE if you receive Job Seekers Allowance or Employment & Support Allowance (ESA). If you or an adult family member might be interested in taking the course, please email us ([email protected]) with the name and contact details. We would need at minimum of 5 people to run the course. We can then let you know when the course will start and how to enrol etc. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is nervous of computers and wants a gentle and stress-free introduction into how to use them! We look forward to hearing from you. |
